Ehriad, by Jenna Elizabeth Johnson

The book is part of The Otherworld series.  It's three short stories from Cade's point of view that parallel book 1.  But leaves out a lot of detail about the different characters.  This is definitely not a good book to start the series with.  

I didn't read this book till I was done with the series.  Because of that, there were times I thought Cade was kind of a Jerk for disappearing for months at a time.  Specially when Meghan had so many questions about who she was and where she came from.

In this book you learn why Cade was gone for so long.  What other creatures he was battling in the otherworld.  The different tortures that the Morrigan put him through that he never shared with Meghan.  

To be honest, at first I felt a little nosy for wanting to know why Cade was gone for so long, since he obviously cared about Meghan.  This story completely clears up any doubts that you may have about him.  This book shows how he could be even more amazing than he already was.
