Orchid Exhibit, Part 2
Will took so many wonderful close-ups of all the different orchids, I thought the only way to do them justice was to give them a seperate blog. I threw in a few pictures of my own, but I'm sure it will be easy to tell which pictures are his.

Many collectors died in the process of searching for new species, and despite persistent reports that the men died from drowning, gunshot and knife wounds, snakebites, trampling by cattle, or blows in the head with blunt instruments, it is generally accepted that in each case the primary cause of death was orchid fever.
