Easter Wrap-up and Deviled Eggs
It was beautiful for Easter. I think a lot of other people had the same idea to picnic out at Valley Forge. We found one of the last open picnic tables. We were hoping that all of the dogwoods would be in bloom. It looks like with the long winter we had, they are still a week or two away from blooming.
After our picnic brunch, we headed over to Washington's Headquarters. For once, we were there when they had the doors open. Honestly, I thought they would be closed because it was Easter and a Sunday.

It definitely feels larger than it looks from the outside.
That is a very small canopy bed(twin-sized bed) below for an adult...
This is the attic.
The Kitchen.
I was impressed by how large it is.
These two had more fun walking around than checking out the houses, lol.
This was definitely a fun day!

Deviled Eggs
6 Hard Boiled Eggs, Cooled and shelled
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
1 1/2 tsp Dill Relish or Dill Pickle, minced
1/4 tsp Black Pepper, ground
Spanish Paprika for dusting over the top.
Cut the eggs in half and add the yolks to a small bowl.
Smash up the yolks and add the mayo, mustard, pickles, and pepper. Stir till smooth.
Add about 2 tsp of the filling back to the egg whites. Once all of the eggs are filled, dust the tops with paprika.
Easter was when Hope in person surprised the whole world by coming forward from the future to the present.
