Philadelphia Soul
Saturday night we went to see our first Soul game at Wells Fargo Center. Those of you that know me know I love area football. It's a lot faster paced than regular football with scores that look more like a typical basketball game. Probably because they play football on a field the size of a basketball court.
.
They had some sort of entertainment in between every single point scored. Between all the prizes they give out, the cheerleaders, dance team and drill team there was never a dull moment
The Soul are led by Ryan McDaniels the ones in the light blue uniforms and the visiting team was the Tampa Bay Storm in the white, dark blue and gold uniforms. The first quarter seemed like it would be a close game ending score being 7-6. But by 3rd quarter the Soul had dominated the Storm ending the quarter with 49-27.
The soul are an amazing team they intercepted the ball a couple of times, but what I loved was like in the picture above they would just knock the ball out of the way before the other team could catch it. Over and over again, it was almost comical at times.

There were bands from around the area doing a lot of the music besides the DJ of course. You can see one of the bands on the screen.
In the end the Soul's amazing offense and defense crushed the Storm ending the game with 62-34.
We had a wonderful time, though I think we ate too much junk food. Here Will & Jaiden were sporting their candystash.
Though that didn't stop us from getting our free sundae at Friendly's on Sunday!
Football is like life, it requires perseverance self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.
