Greek Hot Toddy

This is restaurant week, this week in Center City Philly.  Will and I decided to beat the blizzard and head down last Friday to Center City to Opa's and have dinner.  That's when I noticed their Greek Hot Toddy on the Menu.  I believe it is so much better than a regular Hot Toddy.  Will made some tweaks and I think his recipe is even better.  As for the Blizzard we left Center City just as the first snow flakes started to fall.  We got home just as the Blizzard really started.

Saturday morning after the Blizzard.

Greek Hot Toddy

1.5 oz Vodka

1/2 oz Ginger Honey Syrup(recipe to follow)

4 oz hot Chamomile Tea

1 Lemon Slice

1 Orange Slice

1 Cinnamon Stick

Place all of the ingredients in a mug.  Give it a quick stir and enjoy!

Ginger Honey Syrup

1/2 cup Honey

1/2 cup Hot Water

1 tsp fresh Minced Ginger

Mix together and use for this drink or any others.
